Wednesday Aug 24, 2016
The podcasts continue with a discussion of the divisive Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Myself (Craig), Aaron and Angus got together to discuss the recently released Ultimate Edition and mull over whether it's a better film than the theatrical version or not. Natalie drops in for a brief cameo towards the end as well.
Many thanks to 331ERock for the music that was used. Click on the link to find more from him.

Star Trek: Discovery Flashcast II
Wednesday Aug 17, 2016
Wednesday Aug 17, 2016
Since there has recently been some news about Star Trek: Discovery released by Bryan Fuller, Sandy and I (Craig) decided to get together for a Flashcast and talk a bit about it. The conversation veered off into other aspects of the Star Trek universe as usual but we had a broad discussion about everything we know so far and had fun doing it.
The only real show note to speak of is the image of the Captain's Chair that we discussed and you can find that below:
But who will sit in it?

Suicide Squad
Sunday Aug 14, 2016
Sunday Aug 14, 2016
Suicide Squad is a film that was seen and reviewed by yours truly (Craig) but there was a lot more that had to be said about it so me and Kat teamed up to have a discussion about it and get the whole thing out of our system.
Kat is a first time contributor to Kneel Before Pod and has a life outside of this podcast so please do seek her out on her YouTube channel or drop her a line on Twitter where she will be more than happy to chat.

Star Trek Beyond
Tuesday Aug 02, 2016
Tuesday Aug 02, 2016
The bridge crew consisting of myself (Craig), Sandy, Angus and Natalie reassembled to complete our discussions of the rebooted Star Trek films by talking about Star Trek Beyond. The review of the film can be found here.
Please be advised that there are significant spoilers for the film but the audio does forewarn you of that so there's no chance of accidentally being spoiled when listening. There are some audio issues from Angus and Natalie mostly due to a dodgy internet connection but the majority of what they said still comes through clearly enough.
Show Notes
Very little extra media to be looked up was discussed but here's a link to an article on where the USS Franklin fits into the Star Trek canon
As always if you liked what we had to say then hit the subscribe button on iTunes or other major podcasting apps and feel free to submit feedback on any medium you like. Anything that helps us improve is always welcomed.

Monday Aug 01, 2016
Clay Liford, director of Slash, a personal favourite of mine from this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival was kind enough to catch up with me (Craig) and talk about the film as well as the other parts of his career ahead of his appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.

Jeff Teravainen Interview
Sunday Jul 31, 2016
Sunday Jul 31, 2016
Recently Jeff Teravainen was able to give up some of his time to talk to Craig about his life and career. Jeff is currently starring as Lieutenant Anders on the SyFy show Dark Matter reviewed on this site by Aaron. Fans of the show will recognise him as Lieutenant Anders. People may also know him as Agent Stack on 12 Monkeys.
He had a lot to share about his life and career including his time as the frontrunner of a band and his interest in palaeontology. I hope he has a lot of success in his career and that his auditions go well.
The discussion didn't lend itself to a lot of referencing so the show notes in this case are really light but I hope you enjoy listening to what he had to say.
If you enjoyed this then please subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or most major podcast apps on any format. Just search for "Kneel Before Pod" or "Kneel Before Blog" hit the subscribe button. Any feedback you have is more than welcome too, we're always interested in improving the podcasts and interview segments.

1000th Post - Celebration Podcast
Sunday Jul 24, 2016
Sunday Jul 24, 2016
Another milestone has been reached for Kneel Before Blog. The website is now on 1000 posts and I'm absolutely delighted by the progress that has been made to get us here.
Kneel Before Blog is something that I started on my own but over the years I have recruited other people to help me by supplying other content. The website wouldn't be at this stage without that help so a lot of credit should be given to Aaron, Angus, Natalie, Gwen, Jordan, Simon, Urfa and Graeme for taking time out of their lives to provide their own takes on media that they have consumed.
For the 1000th post I really wanted to celebrate the team rather than myself because it's 1000 posts of collective content rather than just me so Gwen suggested the idea of doing a podcast where people can listen and "meet the team" so to speak. I thought it was a great idea and decided to try to make it happen.
As you might expect not everyone could make it but Aaron, Gwen, Natalie and Angus managed to make themselves available for a live discussion and Graeme was able to record his input as well so we had a decent showing.
I personally wanted to enjoy the celebration so I handed over hosting duties to author Stewart Bint who was kind enough to step in at the list minute. You can find him on twitter or on his own website. His job was to keep things moving along and he did it wonderfully.
The whole thing is pretty self indulgent but since it's a celebration I'd say it fits nicely. Hopefully people can listen along and get an idea of who the people behind the articles being read are. We had a great time doing it and hopefully people will get something out of listening to it. If not then it's something just for us.
Not everything went perfectly because nothing ever does. I personally had a cold which explains why I sound more ridiculous than usual and there are some audio issues that creep in here and there as well as my phone going off early on because I forgot to put it on silent but everything came together well considering.
Show Notes
This podcast was recorded on Friday 13th May, 2016 because I thought the 1000th post would come around quicker than it has so I didn't expect to wait over 2 months to finally share this with people so there are a number of things that have already happened in the meantime:
- The podcast has since launched due to the timing of the release of Star Trek Beyond meaning I had no choice but to put up the discussions on Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness
- Containment has now finished and Natalie was right about the series being 13 episodes long
- Graeme has had a couple of big films
- Aaron has started covering Dark Matter
- Angus has started covering Preacher
Graeme discussed a few books so find some links to more information below:
- Drew Magary - The End Specialist
- James Luceno - Darth Plagueis novel
- Naomi Novik - Uprooted
- Naomi Novik - Temeraire series
I don't have much else to say other than I'm grateful for all of the help I've had and I hope there will continue to be interest in reading the site as well as listening to the podcast.
The podcast can be found on iTunes, Stitcher as well as all major podcast apps on android and windows. Please do subscribe and submit any feedback you might have.
Happy listening

Star Trek Into Darkness
Sunday Jul 17, 2016
Sunday Jul 17, 2016
After our discussion of Star Trek (2009) it only made sense to talk about Star Trek Into Darkness. Natalie, Angus, Sandy and myself (Craig) got back together to discuss the divisive sequel and come to some form of consensus on what works and doesn't work about it.
This is the second podcast so all feedback is welcomed and we already know that the overall length has to be trimmed down into something more manageable but that is a work in progress. Stay with us and watch us improve.
Show Notes
There isn't all that much in terms of extra media that you should look out but I did mention that the Honest Trailer for this film was worth watching. You can find this here.
As before, if you enjoyed what you heard here then you can subscribe on all major podcast outlets such as iTunes and Stitcher as well as find us on all major podcast apps such as Podcast and Radio Addict on Soundcloud. Or you can just listen here.
Whatever you decide to do, feel free to offer some feedback. We're a new podcast and value all input that people can bring. Nothing is perfect right away and if we have an audience then we definitely want to listen to them.
Happy listening.

Star Trek (2009)
Sunday Jul 17, 2016
Sunday Jul 17, 2016
Kneel Before Blog is branching out into the Podcast world and what better way to begin than talking about the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies.
On the panel for this particular discussion were me (Craig), Angus, Natalie and Sandy who all had differing opinions on this entry into the Star Trek franchise. The discussion went on longer than expected and there are a couple of audio problems but I would say it's a solid first attempt.
Show Notes
There were a few things brought up that you might be interested in looking up. I've linked them below:
Captain Kirk is climbing the mountain
The final visual for audiences to consider is the image of Kirk playing his dead brother Sam from the Original Series episode "Operation -- Annihilate"
They're practically twins
Happy listening and all feedback is welcomed.
