Thursday May 10, 2018
Thursday May 10, 2018
Black Lightning has completed its first season so it's time to podcast about it and deliver our impressions of the first season in its entirety.
The discussion covers perfect families, too many villains, Tobias Whale as a James Bond villain, reality vs. Superhero plotting and representation on television. We also resolve the cliffhanger around whether Aaron would watch the entire season or not. Those invested will finally get the answer to that long awaited question.
Craig and Aaron can be found on this very site and Chris can also be found on a Sunday between 12 and 3pm GMT live on Black Diamond FM as well as on many of the previous podcasts.

Legion - Cat Syd

Thursday Apr 26, 2018
Our Legion coverage continues with our discussion of the second, third and fourth episodes of season two titled "Chapter 10", "Chapter 11" and "Chapter 12". Each episode is taken in turn and discussed very briefly with the usual attempt to make sense of what was put on screen. There are many twists and turns to discuss with plenty of speculation about what the show might be getting at.
The discussion takes on many different tangents as well as suggested recasting for Charles Xavier should Patrick Stewart be unwilling to make an appearance. A lack of dance numbers is also addressed

Thursday Apr 26, 2018
Avengers: Infinity War is upon us and Kneel Before Pod is here to provide a hot take on the viewing experience on the whole fresh from the cinema. Craig and Kat assemble to quickly discuss their views on the film as they struggle to process what has been experienced. This is completely spoiler free so not to worry about accidentally finding out major plot points.
A more coherent and detailed podcast will follow featuring a team discussing more specific elements of the film and relating their feelings to it. This podcast will appear over the next couple of weeks pending availability of contributors and giving listeners an opportunity to see the film. Until then please enjoy our emotionally driven Hot Take that covers the general early impressions of the film.

Alien 3 - Sniffing Ripley
Sunday Apr 22, 2018
Sunday Apr 22, 2018
Alien Day has come around again -April 26th or 04/26 for American listeners- so we continue the annual tradition of discussing an entry in the Alien franchise to mark the occasion. Angus takes over hosting duties and brings together his group of survivors/prisoners in the form of Craig and Natalie to discuss the much maligned Alien 3.
The discussion goes on many tangents such as Madonna music videos, identical looking expendable prisoners, if the Death Star has a Zen garden and if any trees exist in the Alien universe. Join the group as they try to find something good to say about this particular film.
Craig, Angus and Natalie can all be found as writers on this very site as well as being avid contributors to many of the podcasts.

Interview with Star Trek: Enterprise Star Dominic Keating
Tuesday Apr 17, 2018
Tuesday Apr 17, 2018
Craig recently caught up with Star Trek: Enterprise star Dominic Keating. He played weapons officer Lieutenant Malcolm Reed on the show and Craig had a brief conversation with him about his time on the show as well as upcoming projects that he has and a bit about what he watches in his spare time.
Unfortunately since Craig was in the middle of the Comic-Con atmosphere when speaking to Dominic which means there's quite a bit of background noise including a lot of chatter and a song playing rather loudly in the background. Focus on the voices and you should hopefully avoid headaches.
A big thanks to Dominic Keating for taking the time to come on the podcast and talk for a while. We wish him all the best for the future and look forward to seeing him in upcoming projects.
